Trip to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

last Friday,
my mom & I went to Ho Chi Minh for a 3 days trip. It was my dad's company trip and there were extra place booked.. So my mom & i decided to tag along. :D

anyway, it was a morning flight at 9am so i had to skip school. we reached KLIA on time for check-in as we will be sitting MAS.

i was indeed surprised to see a small tube of Ferrero Rocher. xD

im really really sorry again for the lack of updates. :\
had been really busy..
wont be blogging much this year already though..
but ill my best to update it!

anyway, i went back to my hometown, ipoh on Friday (12/2).. terpaksa skipped school cuz my parents want to avoid the jam.. well yeah.. we did! (: we had a smooth journey.. had my mom's side reunion dinner that night.. and my dad's side reunion dinner the following day..

i woke up at 7.30am today with a headache, slight fever and sore throat. :/
so i didnt go to church in the end..
stayed at home and rest + did some physics..
shit... still cannot gao dim my f4 syllabus. :\

super busy with school, homework and tuitions..,
i wouldnt be able to blog that much for now..

anyway, school started as usual and now its like the second week and there are plenty of work to do.. omg weih.. its like SPM year + extra homework some more.. stress-nya.. but im thankful that i only have like 4 tuitions.. i mean comparing to those who has 9 tuitions a week. that's totally insane. o_O

had been busy these few days..

my parents were away from the 24th till 26th of Dec.. so jason & i celebrated Christmas alone at home WITH the maid too for the first time. :/ mhmm.. what a lonely christmas.. i mean like everyone is having christmas eve dinners with their family and all..

went to Shazrain's birthday party on Christmas day tho. :) sth to keep jason & i busy. xD

went to sunway pyramid today with June... (my neighbour)
main purpose is to sell our ice skates..
shouldnt have bought it at first..
only used for 2 months..

9 Days 7 Nights China Trip 09 (Day 1)

went for a holiday with my family last last week. :D
we went to China for a 9 days & 7 nights trip.. which covers a couple of places like Shanghai, Hengdian, Qiandaohu, Tunxi, Huangshan, Yixian, Hangzhou and Wuzhen..
our flight was at 3am in the morning on 8th of November.. so instead we have to reach the KLIA airport by 1.15am..
after checking-in our luggages.. then we went passed the imigration..

took an aerotrain to another terminal where our boarding gate is..

the aerotrain was empty. O.o

the flight took 5 hours to reach Pudong International Airport, Shanghai..

we went to "Thousand Island Lake".. o.O i find the name of the place weird in english. xD well, its.. (qiandaohu) in chinese..
had a cruise tour around the lake..
this attraction is famous for its clarity of the water..

after breakfast,
supposed to proceed to Huangshan mountain early in the morning..
since the tour guide said that we might be rushing for the next days plans..
so instead.. we went to another tourist attraction..

1 hour plus drive from Tunxi..

so.. we stayed one night up in the mountain..
i couldnt sleep the whole night.
too cold... :/

btw, we're all so disappointed cuz we cant see much sceneries up in the mountain..
well, its due to the fog..
and also rainy..
but the local guide said that the weather up in the mountain is like that most of the time..
out of 365 days in a year..
280+ days are like that..
so.. you guys out there who want to visit Huangshan mountain?
i think its not that worth it..

walked a little more before going back..

after we're done at the Huangshan mountain,
the local guide brought us to a Pearl Shop..
usual..
everytime i come to China..
sure visit Pearl Shops one.. xP

3 hours journey..
upon arrival, we went straight to the restaurant to take our dinner..
oh btw, the sky is already dark by 5.15pm in China..
so we cannot visit much places.. have to be before 5pm..

after dinner, we went to visit Ming Qing street and also watch a Song Dynasty Dance Performance..
it was good.. seriously..
worth it to watch. :D

went to take some funny pictures with Pooi Mun at Ming Qing street.. :D my tour leader aka Photographer..
she likes photography.. and she has alot of funny ideas. xD
so the pictures she took for me are quite lame one. :D

after breakfast, we went for another cruise tour at the West Lake.. (Xi Hu)

so.. Shanghai is our last destination..
that morning.. we visited the Shanghai World Financial Center..
went up to the 94th floor...
its a super tall skyscrapper in Pudong New Area...
currently, it is the 2nd tallest building in the world..
before that, we proceed to the sight seeing tunnel across to the New Area of Pudong..

omg.. finally get to try Shanghai's Famous Meat Dumpling..

really gooddd. :P

after lunch, went to visit the Shanghai Museum..
Shanghai Museum poses a collection of 120000 precious works or art.

after that, we went to visit Cheng Huang Temple..
it is a famous shopping district..

in the evening.. we got on the World's FASTEST train... the "Maglev" train to Shanghai Pudong Airport to board a return flight back to Kuala Lumpur..
it was awesome weih.. super fast..
it has a maximum operation speed of 430km/h.. but since it was in the evening on that day.. it only travelled up to 301km/h.. :/

finally another week just passed..
first of all, screw physics..
confirmed going to fail. :/

went to the library after school yesterday again..
joined yinghan & lihwen for badminton awhile..
then we went to the library to study..

anyway, i fell down during my badminton game yesterday with my other gang of friends..
thanks to the leakage on the roof..
accidently stepped into a puddle of water and slipped.. :'(
and yes, i cried like a mad cow on the spot..
luckily hong was there to carry me and rush me to the clinic at the club as i couldnt walk properly..

luckily doctor said that it wasnt that serious..
just only the external tissue of my leg..
i was adviced to stay at home to rest for at least 5 days..
thank God that nothing serious happened..

i never liked going to libraries.. for dont know what reason..
i kinda started going to the library after i studied with Eunice on Friday. :D
i find the Tropicana library's environment better comparing to the taman tun's one..
well, maybe it's because Taman Tun's library is always packed with people. -_-"
and literally everyone's talking..
so instead i prefer the Tropicana library..
not so much of people. :)

had been super tied up with work and all..

on sunday morning, i did not go to church..
instead my dad took my whole family to ipoh to visit my grandparents..
it only took us 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach ipoh. o__O
dad drove around 150km/h...
went to the regular place "gong heng" for late breakfast.. well actually, it's the shop next to it..
and ipoh's food are like the BEST man..

today was pretty much a very tiring day for me..
no pictures with my updates today kay? :D

mom dropped me off at the club at 10.30am today..
andrew was already there though.. since like 8 sth? -__-"
followed ah hong to centrepoint to eat lunch at 11.15am..
came back to the club at around 1pm for my training..
did some simple assessment today..
i passed most of the tests with A1. :D
hoorahhhh!

after training, my coach forced me to study.. -__-
i managed to do mod maths and chemistry practical. :P
left the club at around 4.30pm to the USJ19 badminton training centre.. while szemei, andy, jackie and long went to sunway pyramid to catch a movie.. :D final destination 4. NOT in 3D sadly.
im thinking of whether i should get another stand by racquet..

joined the doubles night with other coaches at 8pm onwards..
finished around 10pm..

my week has been tiring and just badminton..badminton..badminton..
went for the doubles night on monday with the coaches, szemei & wailum..
not to join the doubles game.. but to buy my racquet..
finally, i got myself a new racquet..
after that, had supper with mrgoh, wailum & szemei @ Asia Cafe..
and slept over at szemei's..
we slept only at 5am instead..
watched the new "bring it on : fight to the finish"..

its my third day not going to school this week..
im supposed to be quarantined at HOME..

i went out with terrytoh today around 11am..
was supposed to get something i wanted but couldnt find..

so we practically move around from one place to another..

after we're done with things at the curve..

need to get a pair of shorts for my badminton training..

Sunsilk was having some promotion at the new wing and they were doing free make over if you purchase rm35 and above..
and ohemmgeee, i was like worth it..worth it...
comparing to normal make overs that costs rm100++
so i bought some shampoo, conditioners and so on. (:
and well, i did the make over..
the make up artist said that my eyes were so bigggg.. -____-"

headed to Dragon-i for some steamed meat dumplings with my dad..
but before that, i went over to the old wing to look for pei shi.. :D

and went for dance class at 6pm..
suting didnt come today...

sighhh.. my brother tested POSITIVE for the Influenza A virus. :/ so did Leon Tai Li-Jie..
no joke.
he was sick since 3 days ago..
being honest, my family thought it was a normal flu..
and we took it lightly.. just gave some flu medicine to my brother..
this morning.. he had a slight fever + cough.. i told my mom to bring him to the hospital for a check-up but she said wait first..
after i got back from my badminton training.. my brother called me from his room..
he was like... "kah yen! i just checked my temperature..it's 39 degrees now"
i was really panic-ed..
i informed my parents.. and we quickly brought him to DSH..
so, he did the throat swab test thingi..
according to my brother..
it was DAMN DAMN DAMN painful..

btw, i had close contact with leon tai yesterday..
went out lunch alone with him some more..
should i quarantine myself too?!?!
sighh.. it's gonna be frigginggg boring if i do. :/

influenza A (H1N1) virus has been panic-ing people around..
sighh..
honestly, i wasnt scared of the virus at first..
i thought it was just a normal flu that we just have to take medicine to monitor it...
AND i was wrong..
the virus has claimed 51 deaths in malaysia until today..
there are deaths like EVERY SINGLE DAY..
and now my parents dont even allow me to go to school.. -___-"

yes, it'll be filled with plans..

went to Shah Alam for breakfast this morning with my parents..
had my first ever driving lessons with my mom. :D
drove around the Shah Alam stadium..
WITH mom's c-class mercedes.. its NOT easy to handle for a first time driver LIKE me. xp
it was QUITE scary at first but then i had confidence later on.. especially turning left, right and putting signals..

after half and hour of driving,
headed back home as mom had some lunch plans with her friends..
lunch was at the japanese restaurant AGAIN at tropicana club..

it has been like a SICK week..
everyone fell sick.. especially this week.
dont know whether its because of the weather or swine flu thats getting worst..

anyway, july test was okay..
i managed to take only 5 subjects which is add maths, chemistry, moral, bm and physics.. missed the rest..
AND i was actually very very ILL kayyy?? xp
chemistry - 24/30
bm - 26/30 for rumusan, not sure about the pemahaman.
add maths - 20/35 (i didnt study tho..)

came across final destination 4's trailer about 2 weeks ago or so.. the movie is going to be in 3D.
== it's going to be madness la... the movie will be released end of this month. ;p

and indeed another week passed again..
stayed at home watching csi the whole morning + afternoon. xp
i havent started studying.. yes.. i know... :/

jovita and i walked to the clubhouse for a late lunch around 2.30pm..
wanted to eat japanese food but it was already closed so we had lunch at the coffee house..
ordered a mushroom soup, roti bakar and fried kuey-teow.. (:
no pictures cuz i didnt bring my camera. :/

on the way back from the clubhouse, drop by June's house for awhile to see her.. it was such a long time i last seen her..

had dinner at `Spring Garden" at the clubhouse again.. and this time with Tan Sri Lim Wee Chai's family and also another family.. they ajak-ed me. LOL.. most of the food were vergetarian so yeahh.. lots and lots of vegetables. xp overall, the dinner was okayyy lahh.

btw, i loveeeee the `yu tou pao' (yam pao)... freakinnnn niceeeeee. :DDDD

couldnt take pictures of the FOOD cuz there were guests and i didnt want to be rude taking my camera in and out... :/ but i managed to take pictures with the family. (:

didnt go to school for report card day yesterday so lichung ajaked joyce and i to uptown mcd's for a study group.

surprisingly, we studied. (: yes, i could concentrate.
i find small study groups better comparing to BIG, i mean like really big study groups.
lichung and i walked over to Celine's around 2 sth for bm tuition then.

watched CSI:NY season 5 when i got home.
freaking awesome show..
well, even though i dont like watching the vegas and miami, csi's. xp

we had some motivation talk for all the form 3, 4 and 5's students in the hall today by Mr. Chong i think.. i was kind of confused of what he's trying to say. :/ anyway, it ended around 9.30am..
stayed back after school with lichung and keikiat for another study group till about 3pm.. keikiat couldnt concentrate throughout the whole time. ==

mom came and picked me up and headed over to May's Super Cut for HER hair treatment..
ohmeegosh, waited and waited for sooooo long.
i managed to bought 2 new DVD's again btw. (:

im gonna cut my hair this monday. :/
not exactly cut..
its called spa perm..according to the salon lady. ;p
and it's gonna cost me another frigginggg rm300 bucks..
